THE MENOPAUSE EDIT PROGRAM
THE 12-WEEK ONLINE PROGRAM FOR WOMEN IN PERIMENOPAUSE AND MENOPAUSE
Finally understand what’s happening in your body and leave with a plan that actually works for you.
You’re not imagining it. You’re not overreacting. And you absolutely do not have to just put up with it.
The Menopause Edit is a clinically grounded, deeply practical 12-week program that gives you the biology, the testing framework, the strategies, and the tools to navigate this transition and come out the other side feeling strong, clear-headed, and in control of your health.
Sound familiar?
You’re doing everything right. The sleep hygiene, the regular exercise, the clean diet. And your body isn’t responding the way it used to.
You’ve had tests and been told everything is normal, while feeling anything but.
You’re lying awake at 3am, your brain is foggy by midday, and you’ve put on weight you can’t shift despite doing less and eating better.
You might be experiencing:
Sleep that falls apart for no apparent reason, waking between 1am and 3am with a busy mind.
Weight gain that defies every logical explanation, particularly around your tummy.
A brain that feels foggy, slow, or unlike itself. Words on the tip of your tongue. Thoughts you can’t hold onto.
Anxiety that comes out of nowhere, or a flatness that doesn’t feel like depression but doesn’t feel like you either.
Hot flushes or night sweats making daily life and sleep unpredictable.
Energy that crashes mid-morning, mid-afternoon, and again in the evening, or that wired-but-exhausted feeling that won’t shift.
Joint pain, headaches, or reactivity to foods that never bothered you before.
A persistent sense that your body has changed the rules and nobody gave you the new ones.
If you’ve been to your GP and been told ‘your bloods are normal’ while feeling anything but, you are not alone. This program is built for exactly that gap.
Here’s what no-one told you about perimenopause, and why standard testing keeps missing it.
The menopause transition is not just about declining oestrogen. It’s a whole-body neuroendocrine shift that can begin a decade before your last period, affecting your brain, your thyroid, your adrenal glands, your gut, your cardiovascular system, your bones, and your sleep.
And yet the standard approach is a single hormone blood test, a reference range that tells you ‘normal’ when you feel anything but, and a conversation that lasts ten minutes.
The result? Millions of women in their 40s and 50s are experiencing genuine, clinically significant changes in their bodies and being told to try harder, sleep more, stress less, or accept that this is just aging.
It is not just aging. It is biology. And biology responds to the right information.
The three gaps The Menopause Edit closes:
The knowledge gap: most women (and many practitioners) have never been taught the real mechanisms behind menopausal symptoms. Understanding the ‘why’ changes everything.
The testing gap: standard panels miss the markers that matter. You’ll learn which tests are available and what they measure, how to read your results against the ranges used in functional and integrative medicine practice (not just standard reference ranges), and how to identify the patterns your results are telling you.
The strategy gap: generic advice doesn’t work for an individual body. You’ll leave this program with a framework to build a plan based on your specific symptoms, your test results, and your goals.
INTRODUCING
THE MENOPAUSE EDIT
A clinically grounded, 12-week online program for women in perimenopause and menopause who are ready to stop guessing and start understanding.
Across 16 in-depth modules, you’ll build the knowledge, the testing toolkit, and the treatment strategy to navigate this transition with clarity.
You can move through the program as part of a live cohort, which means you’re not doing this alone. You’ll have the support of a community of women at a similar stage, with Susan guiding the whole process.
The six-part curriculum:
Section 1: Understanding Your Body (Modules 1–3)
The biology of perimenopause and menopause. What’s actually happening, hormone by hormone, system by system. You’ll map your own symptom story and understand exactly why your body is responding the way it is.
Section 2: The DIY Test Framework (Modules 4–7)
The testing section that changes everything. Learn which tests are available and what they actually measure, how to read your results against the ranges used in functional and integrative medicine practice, and how to identify the clinical patterns your results are showing you.
Section 3: Symptoms Deep Dive (Modules 8–10)
A deep, mechanistic look at the symptoms that most affect quality of life: sleep, mood and cognition, metabolism and weight, gut health, skin, libido, and pain. For each: the mechanism, the relevant testing, and the evidence-based interventions.
Section 4: Strong Not Skinny Strategy (Modules 11–12)
Everything you’ve been told about body composition in menopause is outdated. This section reframes strength, muscle, and metabolism and gives you a realistic, science-based approach to building a body that works for you now and for decades ahead.
Section 5: Long-Term Protection (Modules 13–14)
Your cardiovascular system and your bones. The two long-term health priorities most significantly affected by menopause and most consistently undertreated. What the research actually says, and what you can do.
Section 6: Building Your Plan (Modules 15–16)
Everything comes together here. You’ll build your supplement framework, your lifestyle pillars, your decision framework for MHT if relevant, and your clear written next steps. A plan built around your symptoms, your results, and your life.
How the Program Works
The Menopause Edit runs as a live cohort. You and a group of women at a similar stage, moving through the curriculum together, with Susan guiding the whole process.
New content is released weekly. Live sessions are scheduled to fit around work and life. Everything is recorded, so if you miss a session, you’ll never miss the learning.
Six live sessions across the 12 weeks, one every fortnight, each designed for what that section of the curriculum actually needs.
Session 1 - Foundation Q&A (Week 2):
The biology has landed. Now we make sure it's made sense. Surface what's confusing, connect the dots, set the tone for the cohort.
Session 2 - Test Interpretation Workshop (Week 4):
Susan works through de-identified case results live. You see the clinical reasoning in real time, then bring your own questions. This is the session people talk about.
Session 3 - Symptom Mapping Hot Seat (Week 6):
Susan works through real symptom pictures live, with volunteers from the cohort. You'll see yourself in every case.
Every participant receives:
✓ 16 in-depth video modules, professionally filmed, clinically detailed, entirely accessible
✓ A comprehensive participant workbook, printable and digital, with prompts, reflection exercises, and a health tracker for each module
✓ A 12-week symptom tracker to map patterns across the full program and see what shifts
✓ Test Interpretation Reference Sheets for all four test panels, with the ranges used in functional and integrative medicine practice clearly marked
✓ Private community access: a cohort group where you can ask questions, share wins, and know you’re not going through this alone
✓ BONUS: The Metabolism Kickstart, Susan’s foundational mini-course (valued at $97), included free for every Menopause Edit participant
Session 4 - Guest Expert: Movement and Strength (Week 8):
A specialist in midlife body composition joins Susan to go deep on the Strong Not Skinny section. Two expert perspectives, one session.
Session 5 - Deep Dive: Heart and Bones (Week 10):
The two long-term priorities most women have been under-served on. Susan teaches the evidence, then opens for questions.
Session 6 — Plan Clinic (Week 12):
You bring what you've built. Susan reviews, fills gaps, validates. The session that makes sure you leave with something real.

MEET YOUR GUIDE
Susan Hunter is a naturopath, women’s health clinician, and author of The Health Edit, with over two decades of clinical experience working with women in midlife.
She is the founder of The Health Edit, a practice built on the belief that women deserve real information about what’s happening in their bodies, not a simplified version that leaves them guessing. She has worked with thousands of women navigating perimenopause and menopause, and has spent years translating complex endocrinology and evidence-based research into practical, accessible tools.
She is also the creator of the Health Edit Framework, the clinical approach that underpins this program.
Susan built this course because she grew tired of watching women spend years, sometimes decades, feeling dismissed, confused, and underserved by a system that has historically underinvested in women’s midlife health. She believes that when women have the right information, they become extraordinary advocates for themselves.
“I’ve sat across from thousands of women who are doing everything right and still feeling terrible. Most of them just needed someone to explain what was actually happening, and then give them the tools to address it. That’s what this program does.” — Susan Hunter

✔ You’ve had testing that told you everything is ‘normal’ while you feel anything but, and you want to know what testing actually exists and how to read it. ✔ You’re done with generic advice and ready to build an approach based on your symptoms, your results, and your goals. ✔ You want to make informed decisions about your health, including MHT, supplements, and lifestyle, without having to just take someone else’s word for it. ✔ You’re willing to invest 12 weeks in your own health and show up for the process |
✖ You’re looking for a quick fix or a short-term solution. This program is about deep understanding and lasting change, and that takes time.
✖ You’re currently under active medical care for a serious health condition and need one-on-one clinical guidance rather than group education.
✖ You’re not in perimenopause or menopause yet, and your primary concern is something other than the hormonal changes of midlife.

TBC. We keep cohort sizes small to ensure a quality experience. Join the waitlist to be notified when enrolment opens.
Note: Tier 1 (Self-Study) is available as a self-paced program year-round. The live cohort experience in Tiers 2 and 3 runs to a set schedule.
-
Most participants spend around 3 to 4 hours per week. That covers the module content, workbook prompts, and live sessions for Tier 2 and Tier 3. Modules are broken into digestible segments so you can work through them in shorter blocks if that fits your schedule better.
-
All six sessions are recorded and available within 24 hours. If you know you'll miss a particular session, you can submit your question in advance and Susan will address it live. Given that each session covers different ground, the recordings are worth watching even if you couldn't attend.
-
Absolutely. The program is designed for women at all stages of the menopause transition, from early perimenopause through to several years post-menopause. The content on long-term health protection, cardiovascular health, bone health, and building a sustainable plan is particularly relevant for women who are postmenopausal.
-
No. Perimenopause can begin a decade or more before your last period, and many of the most disruptive symptoms occur in the early and middle stages when cycles are still occurring. If you’re experiencing symptoms you believe are hormone-related, you’re in the right place.
-
The program gives you the education and the framework to understand MHT (modern hormone therapy) and have a genuinely informed conversation with your own healthcare team. You’ll understand the evidence, including the WHI trial reanalysis that changed the conversation, the difference between body-identical and synthetic options, and how to think about risks and benefits for your own situation. The program does not make medical recommendations for you personally. That conversation happens between you and your doctor.
-
The Metabolism Kickstart is foundational content and it’s included as a bonus because it underpins the deeper work in The Menopause Edit. The Menopause Edit goes significantly further: full hormone biology, the DIY test framework, the symptoms deep dive, the body composition strategy, long-term health protection, and building your plan. If you’ve done the Kickstart, The Menopause Edit is the clinical depth you are looking for.
-
Yes, and Susan actively encourages it. This program is designed to make you a more informed patient and a more effective advocate for yourself within your existing healthcare relationships. Many participants find that the testing framework and symptom mapping they do in this program makes their GP appointments significantly more productive.
-
The privately billed pathology testing available in Tier 3 is ordered through Susan’s naturopathic practice and is available to Australian residents only. Testing costs are separate from the program fee and are not covered by Medicare. Susan will advise on appropriate panels during your consultation. Completing testing is not required to participate in the program.
-
We offer a 30-day refund if you’ve completed the first two modules and determined the program isn’t the right fit. Full details are in the enrolment terms. We want you to feel confident in your investment. This policy is in addition to any rights you have under Australian Consumer Law.
You’ve spent long enough not understanding what’s happening in your body.
This is the program that changes that.
In 12 weeks, you’ll have the biology, the testing framework, the strategies, and a plan built around your symptoms, your results, and your life.
You’ll stop guessing and start acting with clarity. You’ll know what your test results actually mean. You’ll understand which supplements are worth taking and why. You’ll know exactly what questions to ask your doctor about MHT and what evidence matters. And you’ll have a community of women who understand exactly what you’re going through.
The Menopause Edit. Next cohort opens [DATE].
Places are limited to keep the cohort experience strong. Enrolment closes [CLOSE DATE] or when the cohort is full.
The Metabolism Kickstart bonus (valued at $97) is included for all participants who enroll before [EARLY BIRD DATE].

A FINAL WORD
This transition can be genuinely hard. Real physical change, insufficient information, and a medical system that has historically underinvested in women’s midlife health is a lot to navigate. If you’ve been dismissed, if you’ve been told nothing is wrong, if you’ve tried everything and still feel like yourself has gone somewhere, you are not alone and you are not broken.
You just haven’t had the right information yet.
That’s what The Menopause Edit is for.
