THE HEALTH EDIT

Where to start and what to change for women over 40

Launches September 2026.

Women don’t need more health information

In twenty years of clinical practice, I kept seeing the same pattern. Women had more health information than ever—much of it conflicting—but no way to know what mattered for them.

Some had been dismissed by the health system. Others were exhausted from trying to work it out alone.

They didn’t need more advice. They needed a way to know where to begin.

One clear place to start

The Health Edit covers nine interconnected areas of health, including sleep, stress, metabolism and mood, to help you identify the bottleneck that may be affecting everything else.

In each area, you’ll learn what may be shaping how you feel and the one evidence-informed action to begin with.

No full-life overhaul. No false promises. One focused step at a time.

The bigger picture of midlife health

The Health Edit widens the lens beyond hormones to explain the physiological, cultural and systemic forces shaping women’s health after 40.

It gives you the clarity to focus your time, energy and money on what matters—instead of burning out trying to fix everything at once.

This book is for you if…

You’ve been told everything looks “normal”, but you don’t feel like yourself.

You’re overwhelmed by conflicting advice and tired of guessing what to try next.

You don’t need another set of rules. You need a clear starting point and a practical way forward.

Because your health is not a hustle. It’s your creative power.

HI, I’M SUSAN.

I'm an author, speaker, and health educator with 20 years of clinical practice.

Over that time, I’ve watched smart, capable women blame themselves when they couldn’t get the results they were working so hard for.

But the problem was rarely a lack of effort or willpower. They had been given more information, more rules and more things to manage, without a clear way to decide what their body needed or where to begin.

The Health Edit distils everything I’ve learned into a practical health navigation framework for women who want greater clarity, renewed momentum and the confidence to make informed decisions about their health.

My goal is simple: to help as many women as possible become confident navigators of their own health.
