Mental health issues like anxiety and depression can arise when kids avoid nutrient rich anti inflammatory foods over a long period of time. Important nutritional cofactors for making healthy neurotransmitters are not made and gut bacteria are not fed important fibre and this can lead to mood changes. In order for our kids to have happy, healthy moods it is important to encourage them to eat a healthy diet.
